In a season where the bowlers have been largely on top, the runs finally flowed in the North Wales League Premier Division on Saturday, with some big totals doing the rounds.
Menai Bridge (18) 298-8 Bangor (8) 214-10
Dion Holden produced a magnificent performance with bat and ball against his former club as Menai Bridge comfortably beat neighbours and overnight leaders Bangor at Tyn-y-Caeau.

Holden posted a half-century and took five wickets in a game where Bridge’s strong batting display at home – not for the first time in this or any other season – dominated the day.
The Anglesey hosts won the toss and batted, piling up a formidable 298-8 off 50 overs.
Gethin Roberts, batting at six, was a key performer with 69 not out off just 42 balls, including five fours and four sixes.
Holden struck 67 – seven boundaries and three maximums – while opener Jack Gower made 53, three of his strokes also clearing the rope in a run-a-ball effort.

Daniel Oshyer added an unbeaten 30 for the visitors, while Jack Griffiths nabbed an impressive 3-23 from eight for Saints.
