In the latest North Wales Cricket Results, Premier Division – Bangor return to North Wales Premier peak, Gwersyllt stun Brymbo, wins for Mochdre, Saints and Denbigh

Bangor returned to the pinnacle of the Premier after beating Bethesda, while previous leaders Brymbo slipped up at Gwersyllt Park.
With three rounds of matches remaining, just two points separate the Citizens and the Steelmen, but St Asaph, Mochdre and Menai Bridge are still close enough if good enough to launch a late title bid.
Bangor (18) 90-4 Bethesda (2) 89-10
Jamie Grimshaw took a hat-trick and a five-wicket haul as his Bangor side claimed the victory which put them back top of the Premier.

Grimshaw grabbed 5-21Â off 9.4 and dismissed three batsman in as many balls to clean up the tail as Pesda were dismissed for 89 after being put in, Joe Maltby picking up 2-16 from 10.

Peter Jones finished 32 not out as the hosts reached 90-4 off 21.1 to seal an 18-2 points success, Craig Newey pocketing 2-15 off seven for the visitors
Gwersyllt Park (18) 150-6 Brymbo (4) 147-10
After bowling overnight leaders Brymbo out for a modest 147, Gwersyllt Park completed the job by achieving a four-wicket win.
Winning the toss and electing to bat, the Steelmen slumped to 91-7 before Nilam Jayman (51) steadied the ship, but still the end total would have been disappointing to them.
Jack Billington gathered 4-34 and Kastun Stoute 3-30 for Park, who hit back with 150-6 off 35.1, Iroshan De Silva starring with 70, Jake James adding 45, Sam Aplin 2-19 off 10 for Brymbo.
Denbigh (18) 209-10 Northop (6) 141-10
Ranija Abeysinghe led the way with 55 as Denbigh set a winning score of 209 all out off 50 overs at Ystrad Road.

Choosing to bat, the home side also benefited from Sam Lewis’ 41, while for Northop, Bart Ryan-Beswick bagged 4-43.
The visitors could only manage 141 all out in reply, Richard Walker 52, Ieuan Jones 3-21, Joe Lewis 3-38 and Sam Lewis 2-17 for the Vale of Clwyd victors.

Mochdre (18) 195-10 Menai Bridge (7) 171-10
Andrew Swarbrick (4-43) and Gareth Goodson (3-20) were the star bowlers as Mochdre bowled out a Menai Bridge outfit chasing 196 for victory for 171.

Caling the coin correctly and opting for first knock, the hosts posted 195 all out, Sam Davies 37, Will Evans 35 and Aidan Kelly 30, Dion Holden scooping 3-28 and Gethin Roberts 3-43 for the Anglesey travellers.
Bridge looked well placed to win on 122-3, but a collapse inspired by Swarbrick and Goodson sent them crashing to 171 all out.
Jack Gower made 39 and Patrick Glover 30 for the islanders, Marcus Mangiameli’s 2-19 off 10 providing good support to Swarbrick and Goodson.
St Asaph (18) 251-5 Conwy (6) 205-10
Dan Evans (70) and skipper Will Ryan (65 not out) were the chief contributors in St Asaph amassing a winning 251-5 off 50 overs at Elwy Grove Park.

Evans and Ryan put on 95 for the fourth wicket. Matty Ryan added a useful 35 for the hosts, while Shaun Davies nabbed an impressive 2-24 off 10 for Conwy.
The visitors produced a spirited response, but ended up 205 all out, Lalmon TV 54, skipper Jonathon Davies 38, Shaun Davies 36 and Evan Williams 31.
Ryan Dunning notched 4-35, Evans 2-28 and Danny Ryan 2-46 for Saints, who collected an 18-6 verdict.
