Joining us most weeks in order to bring some ‘balance’ to our website and content will be our friend Liv, the founder of Livstyle Lifestyle – a little corner of the internet where she shares the highs, the lows and the downright ridiculous moments of life as a self-proclaimed cricket widow – hence The Cricket Widows Club!
From the double header weekends, to the 3 hour post-match analysis. This is where Liv documents the chaos, the laughs and everything in between. If you or your partner knows the feeling of planning life around a fixtures list, you’re in the right place!

New Innings: Welcome to LivStyle Lifestyle!
Hey guys!.. the 1st week of March and a first for me.. my first ever blog post!

I’ve been telling myself I’d start this blog for months but hey, life got in the way, so it’s the 1st week in March and here we are!
If you’ve been around a while and followed my page you already know the drill – but if you’re new here, Hi!!.. I’m Liv, and welcome to LivStyle Lifestyle – a little corner of the internet where I share the highs, the lows, and the downright ridiculous moments of my hectic life. From navigating this madness, to surviving (and sometimes thriving) as a self-proclaimed cricket widow, this is what I’m all about!
I set up Livstyle Lifestyle instagram nearly a year ago with the hope I’d be able to help/find even that 1 person who needed to see my post about being a ‘Cricket Widow’ and coming to terms with the summer takeover of cricket! It sounds very silly to anyone who isn’t involved in and around cricket but believe me if you know you know!
I couldn’t believe the response that one video created and almost immediately felt like we had a small, personal community of CWs (cricket widows) who could relate to the content and actually smile about it!.. It’s been amazing to see so many of us sharing the same experiences, laughing at the chaos, and knowing we’re not alone in this world of cricket obsession!
Up until last year I’d had counselling and soon discovered that coping with the cricket season was actually a big part of my unhappiness. I’m not talking one game a weekend, it’s the double headers, no summer holidays, trainings twice a week, going to get togethers on your own and a huge feeling of loneliness. I hated thinking there were others out there feeling like this too.. so I needed to find you!
I want to be clear— I don’t hate cricket. I come from a family with generations of cricketers, and as a sportsperson myself, I get it- the passion, excitement, and the love for the game. I support it, and I do enjoy it. But cricket isn’t just a sport, it’s a way of life.. And for those of us on the boundary we’re just trying to keep up and live our life too!
So if you’re up for a laugh and want to tune in to whatever’s in store on and off the field, stick around.. 2025 season is 1 month away ‘officially’ and we are going to smash it.. together!
If you’re not already following keep up to date with the day to day..
With thanks to Liv @ Cricket Widows Club !
